ELECTROLYSIS - is a way of removing individual hair from the face or the body. A very fine probe or needle is inserted into the the hair of the follicle at the surface of the skin. An electric current is applied into each hair follicle for about one minute to destroy the root. The hair is removed then harmlessly with tweezer or forceps.

Modern electrolysis method have reduced the discomfort to a mere tingling. A topical cream is sometime used to help with the discomfort. The Food and Drug Administration and the American Medical Associaton, recognize electrolysis as the only permanent method of removing hair.

How many treatments needed?

Since many factors influence hairgrowth, you will need to return for several visits. The total number of sessions needed to remove hair permanently for a particular area will vary from person to person. Most treatment is once a week or every other week, as necessary.

But the unwanted hair will be gone forever once the series of treaments have been completed. Each treatment lasts between 15minutes to one hour. A consultation with our electrologist is needed to know more on how electrolysis will affect your skin.

We only recommend Electrolysis to the face and small areas of of the body, like bikini, underarms, stomach, toes and other concerns you may have.
